www.slackware.com, off-line?
A bit strange, I can't seem to connect to: http://www.slackware.com

Yep, looks like the server might be down.

Yeah, the server probably is down. |
It's back up, nothing about Slack 10.2, though.

What is it, people?! Tingling sensation from anticipation?? :D
Some people had conversation with David Cantrell and no new Slack yet, and apparently not very soon... |

Apology! I rechecked the source of info. As slackie1000 pointed it's fake. Gossip on Latvian site.

I'm glad the site is back up, I had a brief moment when I thought the site was being re-done etc., oh well. Thanks for the notification folks, letting me know it is up again. |
Servers go down, some go down for maintenance, do we really need threads started cause a site is non-responsive?
I do believe that in recent posts on the site, it says this: "I'm currently redirecting people from http://slackware.com/pb/ to http://slackware.it/en/ so that I can make them test some new features (and not stress the main site if something breaks ;-). The PB has been restored and also, I added some more features. Everyone is invited to give a look over there, and report any kind of problem you may find. The plan is to backport the new package browser here on the .com if everything goes well, and maybe some of the other new features from slackware.it too (depending on how well they scale.)" You'd think anyone that reads the site every so often would have seen that, new features to me means there might be some downtime while he's testing. |

10.2 is going to be out fairly soon I would imagine, current was frozen as of Aug 2nd (changes stopped on Aug 4th) to go into testing before it officially becomes 10.2
