Would you like to see more graphical tools in Slackware?

if you want more tools, use Mandriva or Ubuntu.

Slack is easy to install, although the installer isn't especially pretty, true, but I couldn't care less about that.

I really like Slack, both for how it is and what it is. It works better than any distro I have used in and if it stops being very good, I know it's because of something I've done. I like that.

If someone who writes a blog wants Slackware to make decisions for him, then he should use another distro. It's that simple.

I agree with Bazzaah, your just spot on.

Besides why turn Slackware into an ubuntu type, theres plenty of distros like that already, Slackware is a distro with the concept of simple clean design without all the excess GUI bloat. Besides if you used KDE in Slackware it already has lot of GUI stuff in it. If some people liked more GUI tools in their slack distro either they customize it themselves or they get a distro that caters as such.

I would prefer more CLI tools and ncurses based tools for slack definitely.

So voting "no" to the poll.
