I do not know if you have your card working or not. But I do have some news though. I contacted ADMtek via email and they sent the source code for the driver. So it looks I will be purchasing one of these cards. I bought another card today but it turned out to be another Broadcom chip as well. So I now have two paper weights with an antenna.

Anyway the email address that I sent my request to was freesonc@admtek.com.tw . I simply explained I wanted to use the SMC 2602W PCI card based on the ADMtek 8211 chip with Linux kernel 2.4.20 They responded back with the tar file as an attachment. The source includes a readme file for instructions.

I was able to source locally a D-Link DWL-520 PCI wireless NIC today that is based on the same ADM8211 chipset as the current SMC2602W card. The drivers that were sent to me are working really great. Probably the easiest config that I have done so far.
