wireless problem with slack
 

hi people,

i used to be able to see my wlan0 when i did ifconfig -a
i didn't use my wlan for awhile and now it's not there anymore.
i also tryed iwconfig, but it just shows my eth0 and says "no wireless extentions"
it's buildin laptop wireless which used to work. (it still works on windows)
what could i have done that it doesn't show anymore?
i tryed to restart hotplug but didn't help

ok nevermind i fixed it,

i just had to do

$ iwconfig wlan0 power on


it was just confusing that it didn't show it, so i thought it was broken or something
