Wireless card Atheros


Ok i have a wireless card atheros AR5212 802.11abg card in my slackware box. I dont know how to get this working? when i do lspci i see that the card is there however when i do lwconfig it lists sorta like this eth0 no wireless extension eth1 no wireless extension wis0 no wireless extension? im not sure even where to start? i never had a wireless card before...Im lost as what to do...I tried that ndisswrapper and it didnt work what so ever!!!!
