It's not clear if the OP actually wants the 64-bit wine, or just to run 32-bit wine on a 64-bit system. The latter will work with multilib, but the former is not available, at least on SBo. From the README:
Quote:
NOTE: This will not build on a stock 64bit Slackware system, and we do not
support doing so with 32bit-compatibility packages. That doesn't mean
that it won't work - we just don't support it at all.
Yes, plus my wine package was patched with the "staging" patch set, so that you can use it with pipelight to run 32bit as well as 64bit browser plugins for Windows in your Slackware Firefox browser.
Alien Bob's 32 bit wine package will not run (some?) 64 bit windows programs. I was using it with great success with many Steam games, however No Man's Sky refused to run with it. With Alien Bob's 64 bit wine package, No Man's Sky runs better than it did in my Windows 7 dual boot.

No,
wine for 32 bit system (i486) and wine built with only 32bit support (compat32-x64) will and is supposed to only run 32 bit windows executables
On the other hand, wine-1.9.15 form AlienBOB's 64 bit repository will do more than usual wine (eg. from Sourceforge) do.
1. it is -staging wine, so many patches lacking "normal wine" are included that help run a myriad of *.exe files more.
2. It is D3DX9 patched, which means it has a special ability to tel Mesa's GL "native language" when talking direct-X 9, so many games lacking "wine support" not only run, but run with FPS above native records.
So, Alien's wine is wine on steroids (so no Olympic games for wine tho )
After upgraded to 14.2 I must install from Sourceforge because Alien's wine slows down FPS and have higher CPU usage in my old Heroes V.
CAn't play on my Intel HD.
Wine from sourceforge is OK.
