wine doesn't start in 10.2
 
I've just installed 10.2 and I can't run wine anymore, everytime I run wine or winecfg I get this error

anyone tried wine-20050830 in slackware 10.2??

yep. I also was trying to run wine at 10.2 but it can't. I have the same problem as you :(

I tried the new 20050830 in 10.1 and then again after upgrading to 10.2. It seems wine is producing make errors with some of the dll files and breaks there. It doesn't get to create the wineserver and other binaries. For now I'm sticking with 200507xx.

This is a x11 problem. There's 4 new packages in -current. Wine works now, but the fonts are (very) broken.
