Wine cannot show fonts

I installed slack 11 and i get the 11.0 version of wine from linuxpackages.org. I installed wine. When i try to execute an windows program or "winecfg", i cannot see anything as writing except for tiny rectangulars. What do you advise me to do?

Thanks.

I fixed the problem so, so. I have copied all ttf fonts to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts

But i want to change font codings (iso 8869-9) and applications on wine are so small. I want to change this too.
