Wine and Slack 12

Is anyone else having trouble with Wine not recognising CD-ROM's in Slack 12? I've found that winecfg creates drive letters for them but as far as the likes of getting DVD Decrypter, Exact Audio Copier or DVD Shrink working as it used to in 11 I've drawn a blank on how to get them working with 12. Can you guys recommend something I can try?

You probably need device node symlinks in ~/.wine/dosdevices, or maybe you need to correct your device node permissions.
