[SOLVED] Windows Phone connecting

Hi. I was trying to connect my Windows Phone to Slackware but nothing happened. Slack thinks it is a media player. Is there a way to copy my data to my phone? Thanks a lot.

As much as Windows won't even accept or recognize linux filesystems, I doubt very much it will allow access to a Windows phone from linux ...
Now, if you were running 'that other OS' (G... forbid!!), you might be in with a fighting chance ...

Well, in Ubuntu I read advice that one better install gmtp, but even without it (I actually have no clue why we should install gmtp for that) I had connection. Though, it is better to connect your Windows Phone before booting, otherwise it is doubtful to see what you have on your smartphone.
