metacity is the gnome default window manager and is not installed by default.
you could change kde's window manger, on your own responsibility by putting something like this:
Code:
#!/bin/sh

KDEWM="metacity"

export KDEWM
in ~/.kde/env/kdewm.sh.

Out of curiosity, why would you want to replace kwin with metacity?

sorry ~/.kde/env/bla.sh

you'll have to create it anyway, though.
