Introduction to Linux - A Hands on Guide
This guide was created as an overview of the Linux Operating System, geared toward new users as an exploration tour and getting started guide, with exercises at the end of each chapter.
For more advanced trainees it can be a desktop reference, and a collection of the base knowledge needed to proceed with system and network administration. This book contains many real life examples derived from the author's experience as a Linux system and network administrator, trainer and consultant. They hope these examples will help you to get a better understanding of the Linux system and that you feel encouraged to try out things on your own.

I see the same when launching Firefox from the command line, but I don't notice any problems. Slackware64 -current, Plasma, last updated to Jan 11 updates with kernel 5.10.6.
When I try to start lowriter, I get this message. I don't know why, and I am not aware that I have changed anything. I get the same message when I run localc. I am running slackware current and have applied all the updates except slackpkg 15. I need lowriter,so I have downloaded the appImage, which works. If anyone knows how I can solve this issue, I would be really happy to hear from them
WINDOW DECORATIONS RELOADED resolved with lowriter
Well I don't quite know what happened there. I have just applied the changes from the changelog yesterday evening (15th Feb) and now, so far, everything works as it should. Very strange, but I'm glad it works again. So my issue is resolved but I don't know how or why :-/
