Win98/Slackware 8.1 boot
Alright, I have installed linux on a few systems for people while they were gone and all, but never have I installed Linux onto my personal system until lately due to I have wanted to for a long time, and i cannot remove Win98... it's all my parents know how to use, and they don't want to learn anything about a whole new O/S. The problem I had came across was a problem with the paritition... when I started my computer and it tried to boot from the C: drive it wouldn't boot because of partition problems... I believe it is because I created a Slackware /boot partition... and I am not sure whether Slackware needs this partition or not... if it doesn't and all i need to do is make a LILO disk to put into my floppy drive for my comp than i may be able to get this done sooner than I think... otherwise... any suggestions?
