Will kernel >3.2.23 make it into stable 14?

Hi,

with kernel 3.2.23, which is currently shipped with current, I am having the strange issue that my machines have a load of ~0.50 when idle. This seems to be a known bug wich has been fixed in kernels >3.2.23. Are there plans to include the latest kernel to 14 before going stable? I find this a quite disturbing issue, even though the load reported doesn't seem to be real. At least my Nagios installation thinks it is real and keeps spamming me with mails when I do simple tasks on those machines.

For now I can live with this issue. Otherwise I will just go ahead and compile a more recent kernel myself, which ain't a problem either. I just think that such an obvious bug shouldn't be shipped with a stable Slackware version.

Regards,
jhw

Here is an image of the load problem. It shows the load of my homeserver before and after upgrading from 13.37 to current.

Yes. I'm testing 3.2.26 right now. In fact, I'd tested 3.2.25 already, but was suspicious of it due to some cache errors that weren't happening before the memory handling performance patch went in. But now I think that it was just a combination of the kernel pushing the cache harder and a big ol' dust bunny in my CPU heatsink. Once I got rid of that, things seemed much better.
