why this image doesn't appear?


hi
i want to ask about some think in my slackware 12.2
i hope some body answer my question
the image is display the problem

Because the maximum file size for previewing is exceeded for that photo.

To change:

Konqueror > Settings > Configure Konqueror > Previews & Meta-Data > Maximum file size.

Increase the maximum filesize value to something which you're happy to allow Konqueror to read. Bear in mind, if you set this too high and you browse a directory with hundreds of files all below this size, your computer may be slow for a while whilst it generates all the thumbnails. This is particularly relevant when using remote protocols (NFS, Samba etc.).

edit: A word of warning - it seems you're running X as root. Some people consider this to be a particularly risky type of behaviour and would encourage you to avoid running X (or any program you absolutely don't have to) as root. Far better to have an unprivileged user for day to day use, then su to root, or use kdesu to launch graphical programs as root when needed. This avoids the nasty headaches of "I accidentally deleted /bin when I was root" type situations.
