Question Why no snmp package in slack?

I see that there is

But, I am curious. Is there a philisophical reason for not
having an official slackware net-snmp package?

Do you feel that the average slacker needs this program?

There is quite a few things slack does not provide in the full install, but thank god it's only a two CD distro. I'd like nano to be added as a package, but I can live with having to download it after installation.

I'm not sure what the average slack install is used for,
and I too can live with adding things after install.

I wondered if it, net-snmp, was considered buggy,
or poorly written or encumbered with some other
disqualifying characteristic.
