Hi hitest,

whats your lilo look like to boot freebsd. .

Here you go, this works for me. When I install FreeBSD I don't install the FreeBSD boot loader as lilo will boot both Slackware and FreeBSD. When you make your changes to lilo.conf don't forget to run lilo.

Code:

# Linux bootable partition config begins
image = /boot/vmlinuz
  root = /dev/hda2
  label = Linux
  read-only
# Linux bootable partition config ends
# FreeBSD
other = /dev/hda3
table = /dev/hda
label = FreeBSD

Or give a chance for PLD Linux. It is mentioned as Slackware with rpm.

Its live version was released recently.

And a good site is http://polishlinux.org/

I'm also dual-boot Slackware with FreeBSD.
Actually, I even just installed it yesterday. It's my first time using *BSD though. You may consider to give it a try.

After six years of checking out other distros the only OSs that comes close to Slackware are the BSDs. But, Slackware is and always will be my first love.
There is no substitute for Slackware:-)

If you like the philosophy of no-nonsense simplicity than give NetBSD a try instead of FreeBSD. NetBSD is the mother of simplicity and by far the most beautiful OS on earth. I only use slackware because all my clients run Linux and slackware from all the Linux distros comes closest to NetBSD. ;-)

Heh-heh:-) Nah, Slackware redefined beauty and simplicity when it arrived on the scene. Slackware all the way, baby!
