So there is currently 82 members who want KDE-5 integration, and yet Alien Bob has to do all the work?
There should be a way for them to contribute or something, at least 20 of those members might be able to help maintain it.
I started with GNOME 2.3, and greatly dislike GNOME 3, so I became a happy camper when MATE came out. MATE has been greatly improved, and it's able to stand with every other DE proudly.
I started with Ubuntu, and got tired of compiling code for programs I wanted which had vanished from the repos, and with some of the Canonical stupidity.
Therefore, it's Manjaro MATE for me.

Sure. That's a nice OS and DE. However, this is the Slackware forum that you're posting in.
I'll definitely give KDE5 a spin when it arrives in the -current branch.
