That's a nice clean copy of the design John. Thankyou. How did you create it?

i went to the original source used for the shirt ( i think? )

photos are my life ( well imaging data from spacecraft , that is)

so it is a easy task to do a " down and dirty" quick image


added rings around it and slackware in the middle

then ran a PDE inpainting program on it to enlarge it and smooth it out

I tried that first on the tee shirt image ( did not work well )

Someone know where I can read how to interpret this type of Mayan calendar?

The fact that there are actually 19 months makes me question whether or not this is a yearly calendar at all.

There are 19 years in the lunar cycle, the cyclic period after which the moons position and eclipses start repeating themselves.

I propose that this is not a calendar of months but a calendar of years in the moons cycle.

Tonight I made a KDM and Ksplash theme using the template John VV provided. Where would be a good place to host the files for people to grab? I have no site of my own to put them on.

they moved the servers out of the usa so the DOJ can not grab them like megaupload
