I found that man has some problems but man2html is really bad. I will try out man-db-lite.

Interesting that your patch was never accepted into the man-1.6g slackware package. Some here seem to insist that if there were any patches here those patches would get picked up. And one poster claimed that since they saw no patches then they must not exist.

The patch mechanism seems pretty informal though for slackware.

There's a big difference between submitting a patch for a given package and replacing the package with another one.

You DID read where someone asked you what the specific problem that you had with man, didn't you?

Rinndalir has a history of making claims like that and then ignoring people who ask for specifics.

Mancha's patch is in -current now.
