Where's 'less'?

I just discovered that less doesn't seem to be part of Slackware 13 Current.
It's needed by man. I discovered this when I tried to read up on a package.
Anyone else find this problem?

sasha@reactor:~$ which less
/usr/bin/less
sasha@reactor:~$

Nope, never found that problem with -current or 13.0/64 which I'm running now -- did you do a selective install? I.E., not included everything?

Hi Sid,

It should be there. less is definitely one of the standard packages.

For Slackware 64 (13 or current) it is in the less-418-x86_64-3.txz package located in slackware64/a on the install disk(s) (or repository). For Slackware 32 it should be in slackware/a (but I'll admit I haven't checked).

As Sasha said, it should have been installed if you did a full install, but it may have been missed if you did a selective install.

Try using pkgtool --- view to see whether the package is installed. less is part of the "a" tree of packages.

less is back

Thanks for the help.
I relied on slackpkg to keep current, and there must have been a hiccup.
I'm running the latest 'current' version obtainable.
Somehow less was dropped, but I used installpkg to reinstall it.
All is well again.
