No matter when the World ends, "Bob" will save all True Slackers.
Praise "Bob"!

Dude! that is such a good idea. 13.37 was a really cool version # and my 13.37 boot screen will not be given up till it is pried from my cold dead hands, but if i had to give it up to install version 666, i think i would be ok with that :)

Actually i would feel sort of ok with version numbers 23 and 42 as well.

FACT!!!!!

I read in another thread that PV is secretly working on a slack version that makes use of systemd, and it's called:

(drum roll)...................

FrankenSlack

Remember, it's a secret.

mmmmm...systemd....

The next version should be labeled as Roman Numerals and carry a uncommon tag like:

Slackware XV Special Edition

sycamorex 08-25-2012 03:30 AM

Or binary: Slackware 1110

turtleli 08-25-2012 04:29 AM

Not going to quote the whole thing. But, it was also suppose to end in the Mid 70's. I don't remember much from my high school years, but I remember that the world was suppose to end in 74.

I asked my 8 ball, "When will Slackware 15 be released?" It said "Ask again."

So I did. It replied "Yes."

Guess that about covers it.
