Whats the minimum packages


im building a small server which will be used as a firewall running from a 64mb compact flash.

Im after basing it on slackware.
So far i have narrowed it down to.

Thanks, i think thats just what i am looking for.

Ill update if i manage to get slack running on a 64mb CF.

Update,

I got slackware installed in under 60 MB.

althogh it did not do much it just proves its possible.

i acutually got it down to 41MB. Leaving me with a bit of space to play with on my 64mb CF card.

Next step is to look at BusyBox and uclibc.

BusyBox is most of the linux base applicaions in 500k instead of 5mb and uclibc is a verson of glibc in 500k instead of 30mb.

should save a little bit of space.
