Mostly I use whatever can be had for 2$ from the 'puter recycler, but I have an intel945 in one box -wish I could get one of those 2$ jobbies to work there, but the BIOS won't let me...
PCI wont work? Might boot w/integrated, but can switch once xserver is up
I was using Nvidia GeForce fx7200 512.
Worked great but was obvious it was going out so I found a steal on a new Nvidia GeForce fx6200 512 on ebay for $40.00 with s&h.
Font was starting to fragment and things like Google Earth would start "flashing" with odd colors.
Don't understand why since it's a card intended for gaming but halfway through video's such as those on Hulu.com, halfway through any video I have to refresh the screen.
Didn't have to do that with the 7200.
