Question What to download - current

Hey guys, I have never been on the bleeding edge when it comes to keeping up with a distro, so i thought i might try - and i kinda need it for the new fixes...

So my question to you is - I want to install slamd64 current (much the same as slackware). I have downloaded all 3 of the stable release iso's, but i realised i need current, so what do i have to download to get the current branch of the install? (the fix i am after relates to raid) - check it out here http://forums.slamd64.com/viewtopic.php?t=61

cheers
Jurgen

The best way to get current is to install the latest stable, and use an rsync script to just grab the whole tree. Then, reviewing UPGRADE.txt from any mirror will provide a pretty decent start to seeing what should be upgraded first (before using an upgradepkg */*.tgz for example). Otherwise, you can browse the changelog, and use wget ftp://yourmirror/slackware/slackware...ea/example.tgz everything the changelog says changes.

Hope that helps
