i'm lucky hearing some sound with the cx5530, configured it with "modprobe sb mpu_io=0" because alsaconf didn't find it.
but there is still some noise left, so i wanna set up the mixer-settings.
starting alsamixer results the following:
ALSA lib control.c:612snd_ctl_open_noupdate) Invalid CTL default
alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such file or directory
is there another way getting alsamixer started or possibly another mixer?
