What Laptop do you use Slackware on?
 

I'm looking into purchasing a cheap(ish) laptop for mobile work, and will be wanting to have linux on it for html/php/mysql as well as writing documents using OO.org, and mono/gtk# application development on the move etc.

So...I'm looking for what laptops people have slack experiences with, good or bad, and possibly suggestions on good low(ish) spec laptops in the sub £1k range.

What's the best manufacturer of low budget laptops? What are celeron based laptops *really* like performance wise?
