What is best upgrade path from 10.2 to 11.0 (with droplineGnome)

I have a 10.2 (relatively) fresh install with minimal changes. I know 11.0 is right around the corner and while, sure, I could just backup and reinstall - that's kind of besides the point.

So I'm wondering whether I should just change my sources for packages and cross fingers (making sure I boot into init 3, of course.)
Or is there a better way?

Any recommendations?

Whenever there is a Slackware release, Pat includes a file that gives very explicit instructions on how to upgrade from the previous release. I always follow those instructions and its never failed me.

Now Dropline is going to be a different issue. I'm sure they will have their own set of instructions once they release a version compatible with Slackware 11.

Before upgrading to Slackware 11 I would also as Hangdog42 suggests to read instructions from UPGRADE.TXT that comes with every release. There's really no need for complete reinstalls.
Upgrading process will replace besides older Slackware packages also some of the Dropline packages so for having working gnome desktop again be prepared if there's also a build for 11 Slack release already available.
