Nvidia 6800GT 256mb pci-express on my desktop.
Nvidia 5700Ultra 128mb 8xagp on the girlfriend's desktop (also Slackware)
Ati Mobility 9000 32mb on my laptop (running Windows )
I used to have an ATI Radeon 7500 and I was happy with it. I used to use the "radeon" driver provided with X, with no problems at all and a more than acceptable performance.
I lost that card, however Yes, it was because of a woman.
Now I use the video chip that came shipped with my PC. An Intel 865. I kinda miss my Radeon sometimes (but not too often). Most games do work the same. Some others don't.
