What's the REAL Way to Install GSB on Slack 12.2

Decided to give GSB a try on Slack 12.2. Went to gsb-current and read the install.txt - 'cause that's what you're supposed to do, right ? And it gave the same net-install syntax for 2.24.2 (Slack 12.2) as it does for 2.22 (Slack 12.1)- "lynx --source http://gnomeslackbuild.org/net-install | bash", even though the top part of the text file says 2.24 all over it. But, I'm dumb and dropped to run level 3 and executed the net-install because I expected it to work as written....
So, its now installing gsb-2.22 on my Slack 12.2 laptop. Ok, so, once I perform a clean reinstall of Slack 12.2 on the laptop; can anyone tell me the **correct** syntax to use for a net-install of gsb-2.24.2 ? ...or am I forced into figuring out how to use slapt-get for it ?

Thanks...

Hello,

According to GSB website, gsb-current is still GSB-2.22.3 (for Slackware 12.1).

gsb-2.24.2 (for Slackware 12.2) is only available in gsb-testing. I do not know how to install it.

I would suggest that you ask your question to GSB mailing list

Funny, I did the same reflection just the other day, but ignored it until I read your post. It ended with uninstalling the 2.2 version, and installing from gsb-current manually with slapt-get using this two sources in /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc:

Code:
ftp://slackware.mirrors.tds.net/pub/slackware/slackware-12.2/
Code:
ftp://ftp.slackware.org.uk/gsb/gsb-current/
and then I ran this three commands

Code:
$ slapt-get -c /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc -y --retry 10 --update
$ slapt-get -c /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc -y --retry 10 --upgrade
$ slapt-get -c /etc/slapt-get/slapt-getrc -y --retry 10 --install gsb-complete
This time, the packages was from current and not from 2.2. It seems that the repos where wrong in the net-installers slapt-getrc.
This is the first thing I do in 2.4, so I can't tell if it's stable, but hey, at least it started...
