Bus 2 Device 2: ID 045e:009d Microsoft Corp.
Bus 2 Device 1: ID 0000:0000

Microsoft Corp, is wireless keyboard and mouse.

What happens when you;
modprobe videodev
modprobe gspca
dmesg

The gspcav1 module that you need for your webcam is not included with Slackware.
But you can install a Slackware package from my site:
Slackware 12.0 or 12.1 package. After installing it, plug in your web cam and it should be useable. An application like VLC can show you the video feed from the cam.
