Volume buttons not working on the live image of Slackware 14.2
On the Slackware 14.2 live image the volume buttons on my ThinkPad X230 aren't working. Everything else does (even the ThinkLight!) but not the volume buttons. I'm able to change the volume using pulseaudio.
Is this just a quirk with the live image and will be fixed when I install it or do I have to hunt down some driver. Thanks!
If it does not work in the Live environment it will probably also not work in Slackware out of the box. Is there anything you have to install, add or configure to make these buttons work then I'd love to hear. The Live Edition has a "tweaks" commandline parameter on boot which is meant exactly for this kind of customization that can be enabled if needed.
Or else, if there's a reliable detection mechanism through /sys or /proc that I can use to modify configuration files, that is fine as well.
