Virtual Screen issues

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum, but I have been coming here for a while in search for answers. Got to admit, probably the best forum I've came across.
Ok, anyways, back to my issue.
I am trying to set up a larger virtual screen then my monitor screen, I did fugure out how to do so, but I've been having some minor but anoying issues with the font in some programs (amsn and skype so far). it appers that the font has become too large also. so the larger the virtual screen, the larger the font gets, it seams wierd  . ok, so, is there any way to overcome that and make the font become of normal size, and keep my virtual screen as I want? (virtual 1280 1024)

Thanks

Strange.... aMsn appears to be a tcl/tk-based prog, and Skype is QT-based. So its not just the toolkit.

MY only guiess they both use some strange fonts. Is there a way to change the interface fonts in Skype?

As for changing the font in aMsn, I wouldn't touch it with a six-foot pole. IMHO it's easier to switch to Kopete, with MSN plugin than make tcl/tk progs look good.

Sounds good, but unfortunatly I don't run KDE, it runs too sluggish on my computer (AMD K6-2 500MHz 192 RAM)
and how do I change the font on skype? I looked everywhere for it.
