vfat execute permission

I have this in my fstab file
Code:
/dev/hda6 /mnt/mydocuments vfat auto,users,umask=000 0 0
and now every user has read/write access and all files have -rwxrwxrwx permissions, but whenever I try to execute a file the shell gives me a "Permissions denied" errror, even when root tries to execute something. This happens on all my vfat drives. I'm wondering, is this a limitation of the filesystem or am I just doing something wrong?

I know why you can't execute them, I just don't know how to fix it...for file permissions, it takes the default of 666 and subtracts your umask of 000 to get file permissions of 666 (read/write, no execute)...for directories, it starts with 777

While doing some searches on google I found the solution myself I just needed to add the keyword "exec" to my fstab file. So now my vfat entries read
Quote:
/dev/hda6 /mnt/mydocuments vfat auto,user,exec,umask=000 0 0
