Very Small Fonts

So I booted to kde today on my laptop and all the fonts were so small i could not discern any text. Through blundered about blindly for a while until i ran across the controlcenter and found the font settings. I enlarged the fonts thinking this would aleviate my issue. I had to increase the defaault font size to 64 before the fonts llokked "normal"! Whats more is the fonts sizes with in all programs remains unreadable. What the poop is going on? I installed vmware recently and i've been booting the physical slackware partition from windows lately. could this have done something? Preemtive tanks to all.

Probably something with your xorg.conf. Can you post it here?
