Ask the developers of util-linux, or revert to the previous version in your system. There's nothing that Slackware could or should do about that.

PS But thanks for bringing that to our attention (although I didn't check how the output differ as I have no running -current system currently) as a that could need a review of scripts that parse the output of mount...

I think it's the difference between /proc/mounts and /etc/mtab. The latest change in current restoring the use of mtab has likely put it back to what you're expecting.
Code:
test@ws1:~$ mount
/dev/mapper/rootvg-lvroot on / type ext4 (rw)
proc on /proc type proc (rw)
sysfs on /sys type sysfs (rw)
tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw)
/dev/mapper/rootvg-lvsrc on /usr/src type ext4 (rw)
/dev/mapper/rootvg-lvhome on /home type ext4 (rw)
/dev/mapper/rootvg-lvvar on /var type ext4 (rw)
/dev/mapper/rootvg-lvsrv on /srv type ext4 (rw)
/dev/mapper/crypt on /srv/crypt type ext4 (rw)
tmpfs_tmp on /tmp type tmpfs (rw)
devpts on /dev/pts type devpts (rw,gid=5,mode=620)
