Vector SOHO and speedtouch

Hi

I am going to try out the Vector SOHO live CD does the speedtouch 330 modem work with this? I am presuming it will not automatically work -its does not with any other distro I have tried- so does anyone know a way of getting to work?

Hey, isn't this the Slackware forum?

A fast search in the Vector forums (vectorlinux.com/forum1) gives the result that the modem does not run out of the box, but there seem to be a workaround (vectorlinux.com/forum1/index.php?topic=6716.15). You can also search the old Vector forums (ibiblio.org/vectorlinux/forum/search.php) for more info

Thanks for the very useful links. I did understand that it was a slackware forum, but Vector is based on slackware. Having found the VL forum it should prove very useful. Thanks again
