I wish I could help you guys but unless you can tell me how to replicate the behavior your expierencing, I haven't the faintest idea of whats happening. Typically why I don't use login managers. It complicates the startup process by adding a whole nother layer. But again, GDM is behaving very well for me. With both root and a user.

Just added some more progs to "office"... "office" is now "extra". Again, if you already have abiword installed, get into /var/log/gnome-2.18.3 and change "WHATEVER-MANIFEST" to "EXTRA-MANIFEST"...

I'm still calling it final because the mechanics aren't likely to change. I'm just adding extra programs. I'd like to get all these extras added before 2.20 is released so I don't have to go thru this anymore... If you would like to see anything added, now is the time to speak up. Off list please.
