uxfs file system

Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I have to write a report comparing uxfs to any other linux based file system (I have chosen ext2), however although I have been able to find plenty of information about ext2 I am not able to do the same for uxfs. Please can you advise me of either any websites or books that may be of use.

Many thanks in advance.

Look at this thread first:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...system-614764/

Now you could ask Google Books :
http://books.google.com/
and type :
uxfs
in the search field.

The first link I founded that way pointed me to a book called:
"UNIX Filesystems: Evolution, Design, and Implementation" by Steve D. Pete
and‎ yes, there seems to be a chapter about uxfs in it.

Don't they teach you how-to search for information at school

Furthermore, I'm not sure this forum be appropriate for such questions.

HTH, anyway.

Many thanks for your post.

I do already have a copy of the pate book which does have a chapter based on uxfs, however this gives me information on how to install and configure but not the realities of how this file system actually works which is more of the type of information I am trying to obtain. I have tried google books and various other searches but as yet to no avail.

Regards
