Using Klik on Slackware

I was wondering if it is or will be possible to use klik on slackware. Klik is an app developed by probono originally for installing software on Knoppix, but its now been ported to quite a few other distros. I was just wondering if its possible to run it on slackware or if you need to make some modifications to get it to work.

I've had some trouble installing some apps.... dependency issues and such. This might be good for resolving that for me. I do like installing from source.

As far as I know, klik only works for debian-based distributions. If you compile software by hand, you will have no problem with dependences anyway, as the build script usually tell very precisely what they need. If you need dependency-checking you might want to take a look at swaret .
