users problem

well i am on slack 9

now, i have 2 accounts on my machine - root account and a regular user account - for everyday work - programming, internet, games etc.

now, because my native tounge isn't english (well, too bad for me) i have installed some fonts so that i could view my language with normal fonts....

now first of all, i installed them when i was on the root account
then when i logged in to the user account the browser couldn't use them....
well i installed them again (both regular and ttf fonts) on the user account
now different software could use them, but, the browsers - mozilla and konqueror couldn't.....

why?

I don't know if this is of anyhelp and if I'm totally off from your problem (newbie here too), but did you try, with KDE, go into "Configuration >> "KDE" >> "personalization" >> "country and language"? That would switch the system language...

first of all 10x for your help
but that's really not my problem

the problem is that the browsers don't use the installed font's in the user accounts
