I have a laptop and I just installed Slackware 10 on it . But you know the mouse on laptop is not so easy to use , so I have to buy a USB mouse for my Laptop .

My problem is when I connect USB mouse to my running laptop , it does not work ( althought the lam on the mouse was light up ) . I want my coputer recognize any USB device as in windows XP , can I do it ?

Other question is I've install a deamon ( samba ) , but I dit not let it start when I boot my laptop . So now I think that it is nessesary but how can I make it startup with my computer too ?
