USB Flash drive

Do you know how to mount a USB drive?
What would I have to put in the /etc/fstab file? (And besides, if I change this file and I want it to be effect without rebooting, what would I have to do?)
My laptop is a Toshiba Tecra 8000 (very old) and I'm not sure if Slackware recognized its USB port? How do I check it?

Well is either of these two options:

Code:
/dev/sdx /mnt/key vfat noauto,noatime,users 0 0
or
Code:
/dev/sdx1 /mnt/key vfat noauto,noatime,users 0 0

Enjoy

Add this line to your /etc/fstab

/dev/sda1 /mnt/usbstick vfat user,noauto,umask=0 0 0

then issue this command

modprobe usb-storage

then create mount point

cd /mnt
mkdir /usbstick

to mount

mount /mnt/usbstick

hope this help
