USB CD booting but not being found in media search

Hi,

Been having problems with Installation. I can boot off the CD on the USB cdrom, but I am unable to find the CD in the media auto search.

Hardware:
HP Proliant DL140
2 SATA 80GB internal drives
External USB case; LiteOn 16x DVD/CD Writer & Rewriter
USB keyboard and mouse

OS:
Slackware 10.2

I have attempted to install Slackware from two different sets of CDs just in case the media was wrong, and both were different sets of ISOs.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks!

If the auto search doesn't find it, try manually specifying the location. Since you have two SATA HDD, the USB CD is probably /dev/sdc. "dmesg" will give you a better idea, though.
