upgraded to 2.6.9, "less" command no longer works

Hello everybody.
I just upgraded to 2.6.9 and I'm having a few strange problems. Most of them I can solve, (like the permissions of the /dev directory, etc), but this one has me stumped. My "less" command has lost it's functionality. It's still there, happy as can be in /usr/bin, so I'm not getting any errors. I just get no output. I could just use "more", except for the fact that abcde uses the "less" command to display cddb entries when it finds more than one.

Anyone heard of anything like this?

It's not related to the udev problem, is it?

See .

I have no idea myself, but maybe it's worth checking out.

clawhead, thanks--worked like a charm. I also made a note of it in your linked thread in case anyone else runs into the same problem.
