Upgrade becomes downgrade?

I upgrading to kernel 2.6.10 (NINE tries this week lol, I averaged one try a night because of one hectic work schedule, then I got a few shots at it today, AND GOT IT!! First one I have ever done) Now that I am done patting my own back, a question if I may. Alot of things seem to me moving alot faster and more consistent with this new kernel, except for one thing that sticks out rather bad. My internet connection is very, very, very sluggish. I was wondering if maybe someone has come across this and seen a cure, I can't seem to find one.

It may be an issue with IPv6 used as default, some DNS have problems with responding to IPv6 requests. But description of your problem is so vague I'm not able to decipher more. Be more descriptive next time. Thx

I really don't know how much more descriptive I can be about the problem. After the upgrade, it seemed as though my eth0 was moving at about half the speed, and that is all I know. So do you think that I should use IPv4 instead of 6?

I tis an onboard dev on my MIS K7N2 delta board.

Yea it works just fine in 2.4.X, just not in 2.6.10.

A good general rule for IPv6 is...

If you don't know if you need it, then you don't need it. :-D
