Be careful with clean-system if you install packages which are not official, eg. your own or from linuxpackages.net. From the man page:

Quote:
clean-system
Remove all the packages that don't belong to a standard slackware installation. With
this option, you can clean up your system, removing third-party packs or packs removed
from slackware.

I never use clean system. Have installed a few non-standard packages.
