updateing
How do u update Slackware I know Mandrake used rpmdrake or somthing like and SUSE used YaST2.

you can use swaret or slapt-get. most use swaret.

if you cant find them as root, you probly have to go download them, i would check
www.freshmeat.net
or
www.sourceforge.net

for swaret go to www.swaret.org, I don't know anything about slapt-get. I use swaret without any problems.

They both came in the /extra dir of one of slackware cds

If you donīt run current, itīs very easy to keep up to date with security stuff even without swaret/slapt-get. Just download everything from your mirrors patches directory and install them with upgradepkg packetname.tgz

swaret has not been included with Slack10.
