Update glibc??

Is it a good think to update glibc to 2.3.2 on my slack 9.0??
Should it causes any problem??

I need to do this 'cause some Dropline Gnome promgrams requierd it...

should have no problems updating, this update is required to update the 2.4.20 kernel to 2.4.22 when using Slack 9..0
make sure to include ALL the lib files that go with it.
