someone please help me with this problem.I tried to install a software, but
it is asking for

>checking for gnome-config... no
> checking for gnomeConf.sh file in /usr/lib... not found
> configure: error: Could not find the gnomeConf.sh file that is generated
> by gnome-libs install
I'm currently running slack 10.1

I did a bit of searching on this forum and on Google, I found a solution to install libgnome-2.6. Then I gave that a try, I downloaded package from
http://www.slackware.com/pb/download...2.6.1.1-i486-2
Then using pkgtool to install it. But I still have then same error msg.
What did i do wrong ?? I tried to search for those files " gnome-config , gnomeconf.sh" after the installed but i couldn't find anything.

I am trying to compiling Leibac, it is a software to communicate with a Money-Modules device. I also tried it on Debian and it works just fine after compile libgnome-2.6. But i have noidea i wouldn't work on Slackware.
